Welligence CCUS | TotalEnergies’ acquisition of Talos Low Carbon Solutions: accelerating CCS in the US

TotalEnergies has acquired Talos Low Carbon Solutions (TLCS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Talos Energy, in a deal valued at US$148 million. The consideration comprises a US$125 million purchase price alongside US$23 million in reimbursements and adjustments. The agreement, effective as of 1 January 2024 closed on March 18.
