Role Overview
As a Customer Success Manager at Welligence, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of our clients and our firm. Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Austin. You will be part of an industry-leading group led by our Head of Data Science, Nitish Goyal, and work closely with data scientists, software engineers, researchers, and business development team members. Our team brings together diverse backgrounds across statistics, computer science, and petroleum engineering.
What You'll Work On
- Fulfilling ad-hoc data requests from teams across the business
- Building data visualizations and dashboards that help clients (energy companies, banks, investors) make informed decisions
- Advising engineering on data quality and architectural decisions
- Investigating data quality issues across our global upstream database which involves reconciling production, emissions, and reserves discrepancies from country-level sources
- Using AI tools like Claude Code daily to accelerate data investigations, analysis, and extraction
You will also gain valuable insight into the energy industry by working with our in-house team of recognized global experts.
What You Bring
- 2-8 years of experience in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization
- Experience writing well-documented, logical, high-quality SQL against large datasets
- Experience with R or Python for data manipulation and pipeline work

- Experience with disparate data sources and formats (e.g., relational databases, Parquet, CSV, APIs)

- Time series forecasting and machine learning in R and Python using our proprietary library
