The combination of Harbour Energy and Wintershall Dea will create a major CCS player. Harbour will increase its net CCS acreage in the North Sea by 79% to 3,543 km2, second only to Equinor and ahead of Shell, TotalEnergies and ExxonMobil. In the UK, Harbour participates in the Acorn and Viking projects. Wintershall Dea’s acreage in Poseidon and Camelot strengthens its southern UK position, plus expands its reach into Denmark and Norway.
