Norway Licensing | Frontier licence awards return in APA 2023

On 16 January 2024, the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (SODIR) announced the award of 62 production licences to 24 companies in the Awards in Predefined Area (APA) 2023 Round. Companies received 29 licences in the North Sea, 25 in the Norwegian Sea and eight in the Barents Sea. The licence awards include one firm commitment well close to the abandoned Jette field.
