Europe Q4 2023 M&A Quarterly | Buoyant quarter with more deals to follow

Nine deals were announced in Q4 2023, in line with Q2. This contributed to making 2023 the joint most active year for M&A so far this decade, alongside 2021. The focus in Q4 was split between production (four) and undeveloped discoveries (five).
