The ANP held its latest bid rounds on 13th December 2023, the 4^th Concession Permanent Offer and the 2^nd Production Sharing Contract (PSC) Permanent Offer. The sector showed a healthy interest in the concession round, with some of the industry’s big names (Chevron, CNOOC Ltd, Petrobras, Shell) taking the opportunity to build exposure to the frontier, but highly prospective Pelotas Basin in the south of the country.
