Vietnam M&A | EnQuest acquires operatorship of Block 12W as Harbour Energy exits Vietnam

On 22 January 2025, EnQuest signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Harbour Energy to acquire a 53.125% operating equity interest in Block 12W for US$84 million. After accounting for cashflows from the asset between the effective and expected completion dates, the net consideration is expected to be US$35 million. The deal is expected to be completed by Q2 2025 with an effective date of 1 January 2024.
