UK Licensing | 33rd Round T3 awards led by small companies

On 3 May 2024, the NSTA announced the provisional awards in the third tranche of the 33rd Offshore Licensing Round. A total of 31 licences have been offered to 19 companies, including 14 as operator. Most are focused in the Southern North Sea, three in the Central North Sea and two in the East Irish Sea. There were two new entrants, Meridian Resources and Albion Energy. Two firm commitment wells were also granted.
