Deal flow in the Americas is starting to pick up after a predictably slow 2020. We see a significant uptick in M&A in 2021, with private equity-backed and smaller E&Ps the big acquirers, while Majors, NOCs, and large independents continue to shed assets as part of portfolio rationalization.
