Although budgets remain tight following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the sector, our well count is largely in line with drilling activity over 2017 to 2020, as the mid-size/private peer group of companies continues to step up activity – infrastructure-led exploration (ILX) will consequently dominate.
