Welligence Europe Q3 2024 M&A Report | Deal activity wanes again

Three deals were announced in Q3 2024, reduction on the nine in Q2, with one deal apiece in the UK, Norway and Netherlands. The focus in Q3 was Shell and ExxonMobil’s sale of interests in the Southern North Sea to Tenaz Energy (Netherlands) and Viaro Energy (UK). Lime Petroleum’s acquisition of OKEA’s Yme field interest was the single Norway deal.
