Welligence Egypt | Apex International Energy acquires Eni assets in Egypt

On 10th January 2023, Apex International Energy announced the acquisition of a selection of Eni exploration and production assets in Egypt’s Western Desert. The deal involves six concessions and 4,500 bbl/d oil production. Eni remains committed to the region and country. This deal has been a few years in the making and ESG played a part in the deal with Eni seeking to reduce emissions. The deal has received approval from the Egyptian Government – demonstrating that Apex and Eni are trusted partners.
