Welligence Angola Exploration | Azule hits pay at Gajajeira – Angola’s first dedicated gas exploration well

On July 14 2025, Azule Energy said it had made a gas and condensate discovery at the Gajajeira-01 exploration well in the shallow waters of the Lower Congo Basin. The result is particularly significant as the well was the first to be drilled in Angola specifically targeting gas.
