UAE M&A | PTTEP strengthens UAE portfolio with Ghasha ultra-sour gas acquisition

On 11 June 2024, PTTEP announced that it had acquired a 10% stake in the Ghasha offshore ultra-sour development in Abu Dhabi from Wintershall Dea. The Ghasha development is a landmark project in offshore western Abu Dhabi that is set to deliver 1.5 Bcf/d of sales gas and 120,000 bbl/d of associated liquids at peak production.
