Sungara Energies, a newly-formed JV between Sequa Petroleum, NAMCOR and Petrolog Energy, has agreed to buy interests in Angolan offshore Blocks 15/06, 23 and 27 from Sonangol, the country’s NOC. Sungara is focused on Sub-Saharan Africa and these assets are an attractive mix of producing fields, discovered resource, and frontier exploration.
