Norway M&A | Longboat acquires production in Statfjord area from INPEX Idemitsu

On 3 July, Longboat Energy announced it had acquired INPEX Idemitsu’s interests in Statfjord Øst (4.8%) and Sygna (4.32%) for a cash consideration of US$12.75 million. The deal is Longboat’s first production acquisition in Norway and follows its entrance to Malaysia earlier in the year where it expanded its exploration footprint.
