Norway M&A| Lime Petroleum acquires OKEA’s Yme interest

On 23 September 2024, Lime Petroleum acquired OKEA’s 15% interest in the Yme field for US$15.65 million. Lime Petroleum will also pay OKEA US$9.2 million in 2027 which will be returned in four tranches upon completion of four pre-defined stages of field abandonment. The effective date of the acquisition is 1 January 2024 with deal completion expected in Q4 2024.
