On 22 September 2022, Talos announced the US$1.1 billion acquisition of EnVen. This is a corporate acquisition that Talos will fund through the issuance of 43.8 million shares, a US$212.5 million cash payment, and the assumption of EnVen’s US$50 million in net debt.
