Brazil M&A | KUFPEC enters Brazil with 20% acquisition of pre-salt Orca Project from Shell

On 3 February 2026, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) announced the acquisition from Shell of a 20% non-operating stake in the Orca and Sul de Orca fields in the deepwater Santos Basin.
