E&Ps are evaluating how Argentina fits into their portfolios, and some (e.g., Sinopec, ConocoPhillips) have decided to head for the exit. Others are re-engineering their portfolios, offloading mature assets (in the case of YPF) or focusing on specific resource themes – this is the case with Wintershall Dea and its global pivot to gas.
