The closing of Oxy’s US$750 million sale of its Ghana portfolio to Kosmos and GNPC has been a long time coming. At this point in the cycle, we had expected to see a lot more activity given the strong prices throughout 2021 and the wealth of opportunity on the market. We believe this deal could be the start of growing activity.
