US GoM M&A | Shell consolidates at Ursa/Princess with acquisition of ConocoPhillips’ US Gulf of Mexico portfolio

On 21 February 2025, Shell announced the acquisition of ConocoPhillips’ non-operated US Gulf of Mexico portfolio for US$735 million. The portfolio includes a 15.96% interest in the Ursa/Princess Field, a 1% interest in the Europa Field, and ConocoPhillips’ interests in the Ursa platform and pipeline.
