Welligence Mexico M&A | PTTEP exits Mexico with Chinwol-Polok divestment to Repsol

On 20 September 2024, PTTEP announced the sale of its 16.67% stake in the Chinwol-Polok asset, located in Block 29, to Repsol for an undisclosed consideration. The deal is expected to close by end-2024, at which point ownership will be Repsol (46.67%, operator), PETRONAS (28.33%), and Harbour Energy (25%).
