Oman M&A | ROC Oil makes MENA debut in Oman with US$185 million Tethys Oil acquisition

On 13 September 2024, ROC Oil announced a US$185 million cash offer to acquire Tethys Oil including its 30% interest in the onshore producing Blocks 3 & 4 in Oman. The companies’ interests also include three exploration licenses in the country, as well as minor indirect interests in an asset in Lithuania.
