US Alaska M&A | Apache secures North Slope infrastructure with Savant acquisition

In June 2026, Apache announced the acquisition of Savant, a small Alaska-focused independent producer wholly owned by Glacier Oil & Gas, for US$70 million. The transaction gives Apache ownership of the Badami asset on the North Slope and its associated infrastructure, including the 40,000 bbl/d Badami facility and the 80,000 bbl/d Nutaaq pipeline, which connects directly to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline (TAPS) System.
