Q2 2026 remained relatively quiet for pureplay upstream M&A, with no announced upstream transactions in Russia and the Caspian, as much of the prior 12 months. However, activity for, over the three-month period has remained high, accelerating a trend we have seen over the past year. We also saw several midstream and downstream deals.
