The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has initiated its competitive oil and gas lease sale for the Beaufort Sea, North Slope, and North Slope Foothills. Launched on 12 November 2024, the sale offers over 3,000 tracts spanning more than 8 million acres.
