Welligence Norway | Exploration review 2017 – 2022: Near field exploration drives value for Norwegian explorers

Welligence estimates that 1.5 bnboe of commercial resource was discovered in Norway over the 2017-2022 period. Near-field exploration was the primary contributor, accounting for 90% of the US$7.3 billion (unrisked) of value created over the period, despite only accounting for two thirds of the wells.
