Tenaz Energy has strengthened its North Sea presence with the acquisition of the Gateway to the Ems (GEMS) offshore gas project on the Dutch-German border. The deal adds 19 MMboe of 2P reserves and material production growth, positioning Tenaz as one of the region’s leading independent gas producers.

Powered entirely by offshore wind, GEMS ranks among Europe’s lowest-emission gas developments, supporting Tenaz’s low-carbon strategy. The acquisition enhances synergies with its Netherlands assets and NGT pipeline stake, offering near-term production upside, robust cash flow, and exposure to exploration potential across 14 mapped prospects.
