UK M&A | Ithaca Energy and Eni agree North Sea merger

On 23 April 2024, Ithaca Energy announced that the proposed merger with Eni’s North Sea business, as reported as part of its 2023 results on 27 March, had been agreed following a four-week long Exclusivity Agreement. The effective date of the transaction is 30 June 2024 and it is expected to close in Q3 2024.
