Welligence attended Angola Oil and Gas (AOG) 2026 in Luanda, holding meetings with the government, the regulator, Majors, IOCs, independents, investment banks, and trading firms. Discussions centred on exploration, development, M&A, gas and financing. Throughout the conference week, there was tangible confidence and optimism, and a feeling the country’s upstream was perfectly set to deliver more resource, output and value.
