Argentina M&A | Vista Energy acquires Vaca Muerta assets from Equinor for US$1.03 billion

On 2 February 2026, Vista Energy announced the acquisition of Equinor’s Vaca Muerta portfolio. This includes 30% non-operated interest in Bandurria Sur, 50% non-operated interest in Bajo del Toro Norte and midstream infrastructure.
