Americas Q3 2023 M&A Quarterly | Deal flow remains sluggish, but opportunity pipeline is strong

The Americas saw continued slow deal flow, with six transactions primarily driven by asset acquisitions in US GoM. There was just one transaction in Latin America. In Colombia, US-based Lewis Energy sold its onshore portfolio to LNG Energy, marking the end of the E&P’s 20-year run in the country. Despite sluggish deal flow, the opportunity pipeline is strong across the entire region.
