The US Gulf of America (US GoA) remains one of the most dynamic upstream regions, supported by regular lease sales, competitive fiscal terms and extensive infrastructure. The Majors remain the backbone of the basin, controlling many of its largest producing assets, development projects and exploration positions. In this benchmarking note, we assess each Major’s GoA portfolio, which collectively accounts for more than half of the region’s value.
