Welligence CCUS | EPA Approves First Permit for Onshore Carbon Capture and Storage in California

California Resources Corporation (CRC) secured the first-ever Class VI permit from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the underground injection and storage CO₂. This permit enables CO₂ injection into the 26R reservoir at the Elk Hills Field in Kern County, California.
