Welligence Energy Analytics announces new Head of Energy Transition

HOUSTON, April 19, 2021 – Welligence Energy Analytics (“Welligence”) is pleased to announce the hiring of Juan Agudelo as the company’s Head of Energy Transition. Juan will lead Welligence’s growing energy transition platform, which currently houses the market’s most detailed and transparent upstream greenhouse gas emissions data at the asset, company, basin, and country level. In the coming months, Welligence will expand its coverage into several new energy transition themes and geographies.

Before joining Welligence, Juan was a Director of Consulting at Wood Mackenzie, where he led engagements with energy companies, governments, and financial institutions. Prior to consulting, Juan spent 11 years at Ecopetrol in business development, portfolio management, and strategy positions. He has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
